Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a PalletOperative in Carrington for an ongoing long-term temp role. You will inspect, sort and repair pallets to meet quality and safety standards, using hand and power tools, and you will work Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.

Applicants should have previous pallet repair or woodwork experience, the ability to work accurately with pallets, and be physically fit to handle manual work. Reliable and able to work rotating shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pallet repair, woodwork or joinery.

• Good attention to detail when inspecting pallets.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting pallets for damage or defects.
• Sorting pallets based on size, condition, and type.
• Repairing damaged pallets using hand and power tools.
• Removing broken boards and replacing them with new timber.
• Stacking and organising pallets in designated areas.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
