Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is seeking a reliable Pallet Repairer to join a busy warehouse and yard team in Stone, Staffordshire. You will inspect, repair and maintain wooden pallets to ensure they are safe for continued use.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, at £13.00 per hour. You will work hands-on with hand and power tools, follow health and safety procedures, and support general yard duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous pallet repair, woodworking or manual labour experience would be advantageous.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling.

Pallet Repairer

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Pallet Repairer to join a busy team in a hands-on warehouse and yard environment.

The role will involve inspecting, repairing and maintaining wooden pallets to ensure they are safe and suitable for continued use.

Duties will include:

• Inspecting wooden pallets for damage
• Repairing broken or damaged pallets
• Removing and replacing damaged boards
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Using nail guns and other relevant equipment
• Sorting pallets according to condition
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out other general yard or warehouse duties when required

Requirements:
