Job Title: Pallet Network Planner

Role Overview

As a Pallet Network Clerk, you will manage a fleet covering the 'L' and partial 'PA' postcodes, ensuring coordination between customers, depots, and drivers. This is a hands-on role in our traffic office, working Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break.

Main Responsibilities

• Input jobs into our traffic system accurately
• Coordinate with depots and communicate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Support drivers with on-road challenges
• Manage paperwork, upload PODs, and plan driver runs
• Allocate nightly trunk jobs to optimize trailer capacity
• Ensure delivery bookings and paperwork are accurate
• Input and invoice customer charges daily

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience in pallet network operations, be highly organized, and have a good understanding of health and safety standards. A valid Category B driving license and strong geographical knowledge of Liverpool are essential. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and effective communication skills are required. An FLT license is advantageous but not essential.
