Plus Dane Housing invites applications for a Painter and decorator to deliver high-quality painting, decorating, and related works across Plus Dane properties in Cheshire. You will work independently and with colleagues on responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance, including kitchen install elements, while keeping appointments and minimising disruption for customers.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in painting and decorating.
• Experience of responsive and void maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Good organisation, problem-solving, communication and basic digital skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between Plus Dane properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete painting, decorating, repairs, planned works to a high standard.
• Follow job instructions, manage materials and keep digital records.
• Risk assess work and comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, van stock and the company vehicle.
• Keep appointments and report additional defects or required works.
• Build professional relationships with customers and protect homes and possessions.
