Job summary

AEM Limited in Worksop is seeking a reliable Painter & Decorator to join our on-site team on renovation projects and ongoing property maintenance. You will plan, prepare and decorate internal and external elements to a high standard, following specifications and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has background in painting and decorating, a willingness to undertake training, and a full UK driving licence. DBS disclosure required; references will be checked.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of painting & decorating experience or similar in property maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to undertake additional training to further knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan work and identify, prepare and decorate internal and external elements of properties.
• Carry out decorating on existing buildings and renovation projects to a high standard.

Job description

The successful candidate will be working in existing buildings and on renovation projects providing a finish of a high standard and to specification. We're seeking candidates who have:

• Good communication skills


• A friendly and focused approach


• Background in Painting & Decorating, ideally with some property maintenance experience


• Willingness to undertake additional training to further your knowledge and skills


• Full UK driving licence

The right candidate will have the ability to plan work and identify, prepare and decorate internal and external elements of properties. As a Painter & Decorator, you will ideally hold relevant qualifications or a minimum of 2 years' experience. You must have a thorough understanding of the potential risks to health, safety and welfare encountered in decorating work.

This post is subject to completing a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and receipt of two satisfactory references.
