Job summary

RecruitEasy Limited is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to work on social housing refurbishment projects in Worcester, Worcestershire. The role is temporary-to-permanent with an immediate start.

Salary is £150-£170 per day, paid weekly. You will prepare surfaces, fill and sand, paint walls and ceilings, and work within occupied and void properties. You should have CSCS and ideally DBS, own tools and transport.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
• Experience working on domestic refurbishment projects.
• Previous social housing experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of preparation and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Professional attitude when working in occupied properties.
• Own tools and transport preferred.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• DBS check required (can be completed after starting).

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces ready for decoration
• Filling, sanding and making good walls and woodwork
• Painting walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards and other finishes
• Completing work to a high standard within occupied and void properties
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy
• Liaising professionally with tenants, site teams and supervisors
