Job summary
Retirement Villages Group is expanding its Property Maintenance Team and is seeking skilled Painters & Decorators to maintain and enhance our retirement communities. You will perform internal and external painting, decorating, and light maintenance across sites, delivering high-quality work with value for money and safety in mind.
We require proven painting and decorating experience, ideally in residential or care settings, with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally in residential or care environments.
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating or equivalent.
- Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and decorate surfaces using brushes, rollers, and other decorating tools.
- Undertake minor maintenance as directed.
- Safely erect ladders and scaffold components and maintain clean work areas.
- Collaborate with team to minimise disruption to residents.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
- Support health and safety practices within the team.
