Job description

Job Title: Painter Decorator with Damp and Mould Knowledge

We are seeking a skilled Painter Decorator with expertise in Damp and Mould treatment to join a leading property services company serving the North East London and Essex areas.

Salary and Benefits: Up to GBP36,500 per annum, plus a van and additional benefits.

Responsibilities include:

1. Damp and mould washes, emulsion, wallpapering, glossing, applying treatments, remedial tiling, and plastering if needed.
2. Inspecting and assessing properties for damp and mould issues, identifying root causes.
3. Carrying out effective treatment and remediation work, including cleaning, sealing, and repairing affected areas.
4. Ensuring all work is completed to high standards, complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Well-organized with good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Previous experience working with damp and mould, ideally in a social housing environment.
• Trade qualification such as NVQ2, C&G in a wet trade is preferred.
