Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Engineering team. You will maintain the appearance of guest rooms and public spaces, delivering high-quality finishes that reflect our luxury standards.

The role covers planned maintenance, refurbishments and reactive repairs across the hotel, with a focus on craftmanship and guest satisfaction. Working within a collaborative Engineering team, you will contribute to safety, efficiency and minimal

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter and Decorator in luxury settings such as hotels, high-end residences, heritage properties or upscale commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating across guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, spa facilities and back of house areas.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, varnishes, wall coverings and specialist finishes.
• Maintain and repair decorative finishes to luxury hotel standards.
• Undertake minor carpentry, joinery, building and furniture repairs when needed.
• Support refurbishment and improvement projects throughout the hotel.
• Ensure all work is safe, efficient and causes minimal guest disruption.
• Follow health and safety procedures and risk assessments.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys working within a luxury hospitality environment where quality and attention to detail matter.

The role

As a Painter and Decorator, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and condition of the hotel, ensuring all decorative finishes are presented to the highest standards.

Working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for planned maintenance, refurbishment projects, and reactive repairs throughout guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, spa facilities, and back of house spaces.

What You Will Do

• Carry out painting and decorating work throughout guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, spa facilities, and back of house areas
• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, varnishes, wall coverings, and specialist finishes
• Maintain and repair decorative finishes to luxury hotel standards
• Undertake minor carpentry, joinery, building, and furniture repairs where required
• Support refurbishment and improvement projects across the hotel
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to hotel operations
• Follow all health and safety procedures, safe systems of work, and risk assessments
• Work collaboratively with Engineering and wider hotel departments
• Maintain a professional and guest focused approach at all times
• Support the wider Engineering team when operationally required

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as a Painter and Decorator within a luxury hotel, high end residential, heritage property, or quality commercial environment
• Strong technical knowledge of painting, decorating, decorative finishes, and surface preparation
• Experience with wallpapering and specialist finishes is advantageous
• Ability to complete minor carpentry and repair workStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Good spoken and written English
• Flexibility to support hotel operations when required
• Right to Work in the UK

What To Expect

• Full time position based on a 40 hour working week
• Primarily Monday to Friday working pattern
• Occasional out of hours or overnight work required to support refurbishment projects and minimise guest impact
