The Imperial London Hotels Limited is seeking a Maintenance Assistant - Painter & Decorator for the President Hotel in London. The role focuses on painting, decorating, and general maintenance to keep hotel spaces in top condition.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and carry out painting and decorating tasks; minor repairs to walls and joinery using fillers and sealants; prepare surfaces for decoration.
• Inspect wall coverings during regular travel of areas and report defects; repair as directed by Maintenance Manager or contractors.
• Coordinate daily tasks with Front of House to ensure requests are handled promptly and safely; ensure tidy work areas.
• Contribute to guest experience by keeping hotel looking its best for guests from check-in to check-out.

Maintenance Assistant - Painter & Decorator at President Hotel

40 hours (5 out of 7 days weekly rota)

We’re looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes in our beautiful environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our buildings. Ideally you will have had previous experience of painting and decorating or general maintenance. No two days are ever the same, though some of your key duties will include minor repairs to walls and joinery using appropriate fillers and sealants, preparing surfaces ready for decoration, regular floor walks to inspect wall coverings and other public areas reporting any defects and repair immediately, working with contractors as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

You’ll coordinate your daily tasks and any other scheduled maintenance activity with your front of house team to ensure requests are managed promptly and in a timely manner whilst operating in a safe and efficient way according to all H&S legislation and company policy.
