Job summary

MMP Consultancy is recruiting a skilled Painter & Decorator for a long-term maintenance contract in Wyton, Cambridgeshire. You'll carry out high-quality internal and external painting across occupied and void properties, with a 40-hour week and a company van with fuel card provided.

We’re looking for proven experience, strong surface preparation and finishing skills, and a full UK driving licence to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Proven Painter & Decorator experience.
• Strong prep and finishing ability.
• Good knowledge of materials and techniques.
• Comfortable working in occupied environments.
• Reliable, detail-focused and able to work independently.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Painter & Decorator - Maintenance Contract

I'm working with a national property services contractor that's expanding on a long-term maintenance contract and needs a reliable Painter & Decorator to join the team.

The role:

You'll be carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works across a range of properties, ensuring a professional finish in line with programme deadlines.

Day to day:

• Internal & external painting works
• Surface preparation (sanding, filling, priming)
• Applying paints, coatings, stains and varnishes
• Occasional wallcoverings (desirable)
• Working across occupied and void properties
• Managing materials and maintaining site standards
