The President Hotel, part of The Imperial London Hotels Limited, in Bloomsbury, London, seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the F&B Manager and lead service across outlets. This 40-hour, five-days-in-seven rota offers an energetic hospitality environment opposite Russell Square Gardens.

Responsibilities include overseeing food and beverage service, stock control, and cost reviews to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage environment as a Food & Beverage Supervisor.
• Strong customer service focus and passion for food & beverage.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage, including latest drinks and stock management.
• Food Safety or Food Hygiene qualification Level 2 or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts: early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Positive and caring personality.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Oversee the service of food and beverages within outlets and overall responsibility for kitchen, food preparation and beverage service.
• Manage stock: ordering, acceptance, stock levels, stock rotation, and return of sub-standard items.
• Review sales and beverage costs; track against budget; coordinate with Accounts; ensure materials and equipment are ready for service.

Food & Beverage Supervisor at President Hotel

We are now recruiting a Food & Beverage Supervisor at our President Hotel. Nestled opposite the picturesque Russell Square Gardens in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, the President Hotel offers an exciting workplace in the very center of London. With 523 rooms, a lively on-site restaurant and bar, and the unforgettable Faulty Towers Dining Experience, it’s a hub of energy, entertainment, and charm.

Putting our guests at the heart of everything you do, you make it your mission to ensure that you and your team deliver an exceptional guest experience and memorable stay. You will be supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the food & beverage operations and ensuring high standards of service.

Key Duties

• Oversee the service of food and beverages within the outlets and maintain overall responsibility for the kitchen, food preparation and beverage service throughout the outlets.
• Take responsibility for stock, including ordering, acceptance, and maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation, and return of any sub-standard items.
• Review sales and beverage costs for the previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounts. Track actual against budget. Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.

What We Would Like From You

• 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage environment as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, ideally in hotel industry
• A natural flair for customer service and passion for food & beverage
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage, such as latest drinks and stock management.
• Food Safety or Food Hygiene qualification Level 2 or equivalent
• Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern: early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Team-oriented attitude
• Positive and caring personality
• Professional proficiency in English

Desirable (not essential but a plus!)

• Proficiency in multiple languages
• Knowledge of Miros
