Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator for a permanent role covering Gloucester and Cheltenham, to work on social housing reactive maintenance projects.

You will undertake maintenance and painting across domestic properties, including some external work, and travel between sites in a company van while coordinating with other trades and reporting progress to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Good painting experience.
• Experience working on social housing projects.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• DBS check will be conducted for successful candidate.

Painter and Decorator Required – Gloucester/ Cheltenham

Experienced Painter and Decoratorrequired in Gloucester area to work with a busy and reputable contractor on a new reactive maintenance contract on social housing properties in the Gloucester and Cheltenham areas.

This is a really exciting permanent opportunity with a salary of £31,200per annum plus a van, fuel card and 20 days holiday bank holidays and a pay dayevery 2 weeks.

Painter and Decorator

Day to Day:

• Maintenance work/ disrepair ondomestic properties
• Painting and decorating – all aspects
• Some external painting work possibly
• Working alongside other trades
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress
• Travelling to different sites in the area in a company van

Painter and Decorator Requirements:

• Good painting experience
• Previous experience working within social housing
• NVQ in Painting (desired)
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license
• DBS will be done for successful candidate
