• Strong knowledge of modern painting techniques and materials.

The Role

As a Vehicle Paint Technician at our Birmingham Expressbodyshop, you’ll work on a range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. You’ll be responsible for delivering top-quality paintwork, from preparation to final finish.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Prepping vehicles: cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces

Mixing and matching paint to achieve an exact colour match

Applying paint using spray guns and managing the spray booth

Ensuring all finishes meet quality control standards

Working collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

We’re looking for a candidate who brings experience, precision, and pride in their work.

You Will Have:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint or Prep Technician

Strong knowledge of modern painting techniques and materials

Confidence using paint mixing systems and spraying equipment

A background in the accident repair sector

Great attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Strong teamwork and communication skills

ATA/NVQ qualifications preferred — with support available for renewal
