Job summary

Engineering @ 365 Ltd is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join a busy joinery workshop on an urgent two-week temporary contract. The ideal candidate will spray wooden products, set up the paint spraying machine, and manage their own workload.

You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply coatings, inspect finishes, keep tools clean, and adhere to health and safety standards while meeting production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience paint spraying wooden products.
• Comfortable setting up the paint spraying machine.
• Able to manage own workload in a fast-paced joinery environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the required colours and finishes.
• Apply paint and finishing coatings using various spraying techniques to achieve a highquality finish.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain and clean spraying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Identify and rectify any imperfections or defects in the finishing process.
• Keep accurate records of paint usage, materials, and job progress.
• Assist in the development of improved finishing techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and quality

Job Type: Immediate start, temporary 2 week contract minimum

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7am - 6pm, Friday 7am - 3pm
