Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and spray components to a high-quality finish while meeting production targets.

The ideal candidate will have previous spray-painting experience, good attention to detail, and a solid understanding of health and safety requirements, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces prior to painting including cleaning, sanding and masking.

• Follow health and safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Work to production targets and deadlines.

We are currently looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Sawtry.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing and spraying a range of components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and production requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, sanding and masking
• Mixing and applying paint using spray equipment
• Achieving a consistent, high-quality finish
• Inspecting finished work and carrying out any necessary touch-ups
• Following health and safety procedures and workplace regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Reporting any defects or issues to the relevant supervisor

About You
