Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established accident repair group. You will prepare and spray vehicles to manufacturer standards and work in a busy bodyshop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven bodyshop experience in a similar role.
• IMI or ATA qualifications preferred.
• Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and spray-painting vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Operating spray booths with attention to pressure and temperature settings.
• Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and equipment.
• Following safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
• Maintaining filters and air intakes and disposing of waste safely.
• Wearing PPE and maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Assisting with other bodyshop tasks as required.

Duties of a Paint Sprayer

• Preparing and spray-painting vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Operating spray booths with attention to pressure and temperature settings
• Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Following strict safety procedures when handling hazardous materials
• Ensuring filters and air intakes are kept clean and compliant
• Wearing appropriate PPE at all times and disposing of waste safely
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship on all vehicle repairs
• Assisting with other bodyshop tasks as required

Requirements of a Paint Sprayer

• Proven bodyshop experience in a similar role
• IMI or ATA qualifications (preferred)
• Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy team environmentGood communication skills and customer service focus
• Full UK driving licence is essential
