Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and spray components to a high-quality finish while meeting production targets.

The ideal candidate will have previous spray-painting experience, good attention to detail, and a solid understanding of health and safety requirements, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience using spray-painting equipment.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces prior to painting including cleaning, sanding and masking.
• Mix and apply paint using spray equipment.
• Achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
• Inspect finished work and carry out touch-ups as needed.
• Follow health and safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Work to production targets and deadlines.
• Report defects or issues to the supervisor.
