Job summary

Tru Talent in Redditch is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our automotive painting team. You will prepare vehicles, mix and apply water-based paints, and ensure high-quality finishes that meet customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have proven spray painting experience in car painting environments, hold City & Guilds or ATA accreditation, and maintain a clean, safe work area with a strong team ethic. This is a full-time, on-site role with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience producing high-quality paint work from start to finish.
• Proficient with water-based paints and automotive finishes.
• Solid work history in a car painting environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking and priming.
• Mix paint to match colours and apply with spray guns.
• Ensure smooth, even paint with no runs or sags.
• Perform touch-ups and finish work as required.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and workspace.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations.
• Inspect finished work to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with team to maintain workflow and quality.

Location:Redditch

Annual Salary:Up to £52,000 (including bonus)

Hours:42.5-hour week - flexible start/finish times

Our client is seeking a skilled and experiencedPaint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Car Sprayer / Automotive Sprayer / Car Painter. You'll be confident with water-based paints and bring extensive hands-on experience within a vehicle painting environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Car Sprayer / Automotive Sprayer / Car Painter:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
• Mix paint to match colours and apply using spray guns
• Ensure smooth, even paint application without runs, sags, or imperfections
• Perform touch-ups and finish work as required
• Maintain and clean all painting equipment and keep a tidy workspace
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality results
