Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a Paint Sprayer for an aerospace production role in Leighton Buzzard. The contract runs for 6 months with an ongoing possibility, start ASAP, and a PAYE rate of £19.00 per hour.

Work is Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm and Friday 7:00am-12:00pm, with overtime available. Responsibilities include preparing and spraying cabin interior components using water-based paints and 2-pack systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paint sprayer or prepper.
• Experience with water-based paints.
• Experience with 2-pack paint systems; Mankiewicz preferred.
• Aerospace or aircraft experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aerospace components for painting and finishing.
• Spray components to a high-quality standard using water-based paints.
• Apply 2-pack paint systems, including Mankiewicz where required.
• Work on aircraft interior components (galleys, seats, monuments, bars).
• Follow technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Rate: £19.00 per hour PAYE

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing and spraying a variety of aerospace components to a high standard. The work will be carried out within the aerospace department, focusing on aircraft cabin interior components including galleys, seats, monuments and bars.

Candidates should have previous experience working with water-based paints and ideally sprayer systems. Previous aircraft or aerospace experience would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare aerospace components for painting and finishing.
