Job summary

TXM Recruit has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PaintSprayer/SprayPainter to join a contract in Cardiff, working on train components. The role is initially for 3 months with potential to extend, in a depot environment prepping and painting components.

You will prep, paint and carry out smart repairs to surfaces, with day and late shifts rotating weekly for a 36-hour week. PAYE rate £19.55 per hour or Umbrella £25.96 per hour (Inside IR35).

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle paint, smart repair or similar environment (aerospace/rail).
• H&S responsibilities awareness.
• Level 3 qualification in a related discipline.
• Must pass Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Preparation work: perform high-quality prep on component paintwork to remove defects before painting.
• Paint repair: apply touch-ups using spraying techniques to required standards.

PaintSprayer SprayPainter

Rolling Stock Component Sprayer - We currently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Sprayers from Aerospace/Automotive or similar to join a contract on an initial 3 months with great potential to extend, the role will be working in Cardiff working on Train Components.

Working in a train depot you will be required to Prep & Paint parts and carry out smart repairs to surfaces.

This role has an attractive rate of £19.55 Per Hour PAYE or £25.96 per hour Umbrella (Inside IR35) and will be conducted Monday to Friday on Day shift and Late shift rotating weekly totaling a 36 hours a week. (overtime @ x1.5 available as applicable)

Job Details:

• Preparation work : Perform high-quality prep work on component paintwork to remove surface defects ready for Paint application
• paint repair: Apply touch ups to paint work in and around the area of work to a quality standard using spraying techniques

Job Experience:

• Experience of working in a vehicle Paint or Smart repair or similar environment Eg Automotive, Aerospace, Rail etc
• A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
• Level 3 Qualification in a related discipline
• You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
