Job summary

Northpoint Ltd UK is seeking an experienced Paint Shop Manager to oversee two industrial wet paint booths in Dukinfield. You will lead and develop a hands‑on team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and high-quality coating results.

With a permanent, full‑time role and a 37.5‑hour week, you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage workloads, and collaborate with production, quality and senior management to meet customer deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial wet paint spraying within a manufacturing/industrial coatings setting.
• Ability to supervise and develop a team as production grows.
• Solid understanding of paint prep, mixing, application and finishing to coating specs.
• Experience with COSHH and safe working procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of two industrial wet paint booths, prioritising workload to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Hands‑on painting, provide technical support and ensure correct systems are used.
• Train and lead a growing team, organising workloads as production increases.
