Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Paint Plant Manager to lead production across robotic lines, driving quality and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes developing teams, achieving production targets, and supporting maintenance and process optimisation.

Permanent position in Birmingham with a schedule from Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm; salary is dependent on experience.

• Proven experience leading, developing and motivating teams with performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead paint production across multiple robotic lines, delivering production targets and meeting customer requirements.
• Drive quality, productivity, throughput and cost reduction while tracking KPIs and promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical support for paint plant maintenance, fault diagnosis and equipment optimisation.
• Lead process improvements to enhance paint efficiency, finish quality and production performance; support new product introductions and paint trials.
• Coach and develop production teams, manage performance and foster a supportive culture.

Job Description

• Lead paint production across multiple robotic lines, ensuring delivery of production targets and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, throughput and cost reduction while monitoring KPIs and promoting accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical support for paint plant maintenance, fault diagnosis and equipment optimisation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance paint efficiency, finish quality and production performance, while supporting new product introductions, paint trials, colour launches and process validation.
• Coaching and develop and lead the production teams, managing performance and promoting a supportive culture.
