Job summary

WPP Media in London seeks a Paid Social Director on a fixed-term contract to lead day‑to‑day paid social output for Audible across multiple markets. You will oversee planning, activation and reporting, guiding a hybrid team.

The role requires deep expertise across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snap), strong client leadership and QA discipline, and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations while collaborating with US, Germany and APAC counterparts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in performance media and paid social campaigns.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage hybrid teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end paid social plans aligned with client KPIs.
• Manage brand and performance campaigns across channels.
• Lead a hybrid team across local and Global Hub.
• Train junior staff on bid rules and optimisation tools.
• Ensure QA checks meet best-practice standards.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Build strong relationships with clients and media partners.
