WPP Media, the AI-driven media operating unit of WPP, is seeking a Senior Paid Social Account Director in the UK. You will lead and deliver excellence in paid social campaigns, mentoring a team while driving strategic insights and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, deep platform expertise (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Snap/TikTok), and collaboration across the WPP Open ecosystem. This role is based in the UK with a hybrid office pattern and benefits including medical,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns across major platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to compile reports and spot trends.
• Experience leading a team of social specialists in an agency setting.
• Proven ability to manage clients and stakeholders and present insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions.
• Understanding of how paid social fits into the wider marketing mix.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude and willingness to test new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Line management of a team of paid social specialists.
• Oversee development of paid social plans aligned to client objectives.
• Ensure end-to-end setup of campaigns across platforms.
• Perform QA checks and optimize campaigns for performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on trend analysis.
• Lead client calls and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Manage relationships with media partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure finance processes are followed by the team.
