Paid Media and Content Executive
We're looking for a Paid Content and Media Executive to join the marketing team at Young's. Working across both the Digital team and the Content team, you will help drive sales (table and hotel room bookings), engagement, and acquisition through effective paid advertising and digital content. This is a split role, spending 3 days per week working on ads and 2 days creating content. We seek someone self-motivated, confident in sharing new ideas, able to work to deadlines, and capable of juggling projects in a fun and creative environment.
Paid Advertising:
- Deliver paid media campaigns across all social channels including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, and support PPC campaigns on Google.
- Manage paid social campaigns end-to-end: setup, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, sharing insights on successes and areas for improvement.
- Manage ad budgets with guidance from line managers to ensure effective spend aligned with overall budgets.
- Create compelling ad assets and copy to boost engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with the website manager to ensure campaigns direct customers to effective landing pages for conversions.
- Leverage learnings from previous campaigns to enhance future effectiveness.
- Drive innovation in paid media to keep activity fresh, relevant, and ROI-focused.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, features, and strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Align paid media strategies with overall marketing goals within the wider team.
- Support and upskill local marketing coordinators on advertising best practices for local pub events and initiatives.
Content Creation:
- Create engaging video, photo, blog, and multimedia content to amplify communication strategies and build a strong brand voice.
- Collaborate across departments to showcase seasonal offerings, pub features, celebrations, refurbishments, and stories of staff and culture.
- Adopt emerging digital trends, especially in short-form content on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Inspire pub teams through coaching and hands-on training, delivering bi-monthly social media training to enhance digital confidence and creativity.
Skills Required:
- At least 2 years of experience with social content and advertising.
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Good time management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
