Paid Media Account Manager

Role overview:

You will be the main point of contact for clients, understanding their business and digital needs. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely, high-standard work, managing budgets, and recommending channel strategies. There may be opportunities to develop leadership skills by managing and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with clients to understand their business, digital needs, and performance expectations.
  2. Collaborate with the account director to enhance the agency's offerings.
  3. Quality control of team members' work.
  4. Brief and manage operational staff to meet standards and deadlines.
  5. Manage budgets and ensure monthly spend aligns with strategy.
  6. Engage with suppliers to stay ahead of industry developments and trial new tactics.
  7. Develop performance and commercial strategies for accounts with the account director.

About the candidate:

  1. Degree with a minimum 2:1 classification, preferably in science, business, or marketing, or relevant internship experience.
  2. 2-3 years managing paid media campaigns, focusing on performance and brand goals.
  3. Innovative thinking and solution-oriented approach.
  4. Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Diplomatic, mature, and able to interact effectively at all levels.
  6. Ability to research industry news and relay insights.
  7. Proficient in Excel and analytical skills.
  8. Experience with media campaign optimization (PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, offline media is a bonus).
  9. Strong understanding of digital channels and environment.
