We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Paediatric Nurses to join our supportive and forward-thinking team in delivering excellent, child-centred care.
Frimley Park Hospital's Paediatric Emergency Department currently sees almost 30,000 children per year aged 0-17, with needs ranging from minor injuries and illnesses to trauma and resus.
We have a local and national reputation for delivering a high standard of clinical care, which we are proud of. This success is partly due to our focus on staff training and development.
We offer a dedicated practice development lead and a staff nurse development programme to support learning in emergency nursing skills, plastering, minor injury assessment, and paediatric life support.
Additional opportunities include internal and external leadership development courses, ED specialist training, and departmental simulation (SIM).
To work as part of a team of nurses, healthcare assistants, and care assistants, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
The paediatric ED environment is fast-paced; staff must be adaptable to changing priorities based on patient and department needs. We seek motivated, flexible nurses who can maintain patient safety and compassion in this dynamic setting.
