Join a leading local NHS Trust as a Paediatric Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse in our Paediatric Emergency Department in Redhill. We are excited to announce that our Paediatric Emergency Department (PED) is looking for a Paediatric Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our friendly, supportive, and motivated team of Paediatric Nurses and Paediatric Practitioners. The Paediatric Emergency Service is a specialist area within the Emergency Department, working closely with the Adult emergency service and linked with Paediatric inpatient services.
As a Band 6, you will lead a team of Band 5 nurses and nursing assistants in the daily operations of the department, leading shifts and exemplifying good practice.
Building links with other paediatric departments and wider MDT teams, after 6 months, you will also take on management roles with a dedicated team, supported by the Unit Manager. This includes completing sickness and annual reviews and providing support.
The Department offers a structured Educational Program, supported by Practice Development Nurses and a dynamic team of Clinical Practitioners to aid your professional development. Additionally, the hospital is affiliated with Brighton University and the University of Surrey.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per year plus high-cost allowance.
