Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to work within a well-established language resource attached to a mainstream school. You will support children with Developmental Language Disorder, plan and deliver joint assessments with education staff, and offer second opinion visits while developing specialist skills in DLD.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with Developmental Language Disorder.
• Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites within West Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Function as a specialist autonomous clinician supporting CYPIT model and supervise junior therapists.
• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children with developmental/complex needs using evidence-based, person-centered approaches.
• Deliver specialist therapy input within a designated area/team and contribute to defined projects requested by Clinical Leads.
