Job summary

Pulse is recruiting Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapists to support Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust across children's communication and dysphagia pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians confident working independently with paediatric caseloads, delivering face-to-face assessment and intervention across community settings.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist.
• Paediatric experience in communication and/or dysphagia.
• Confident working independently at Band 6 level.
• Ability to travel for in-person visits (no remote working).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face assessments and interventions across the Walsall locality.
• Manage a paediatric caseload in communication and/or dysphagia.
• Deliver independent Band 6-level clinical work.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and wider MDT colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to service pathways supporting children and young people.
