Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for a fixed-term role. You will work within Integrated Care Services for children and young people with SLCN, across Solihull and surrounding areas, delivering therapy, assessing needs, and supporting families and education staff.

You will run parent and practitioner workshops, complete clinical reports, and maintain case notes within trust policies, collaborating with OT and other MDT

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree.
• License to practice & HCPC Registration.
• Membership of RCSLT.
• GCSEs (including English & Maths, grade C or above).
• 3 passes at A level (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Work well within a team, delivering towards shared goals and collaboration across an MDT.
• Travel to settings alongside other professionals in a timely manner.
• Assess and develop appropriate SLT programmes for children and make recommendations.
• Complete clinical reports in a timely manner.
• Work within trust policies and maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes.
• Demonstrate flexibility, manage capacity and demand, and communicate effectively.

Education

Speech and Language Therapy degree

HCPC Registration

Membership of RCSLT

GCSEs (including English & Maths at grade C)

3 passes at A level (or equivalent)
