Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join the SEND Therapies Team in West Essex. You will work with early years and school-age children in educational settings and at home, as part of our SEND Therapies service.

The role offers hybrid working with visits to local schools and virtual sessions from home, with core hours during school terms and occasional meetings with staff or parents. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage own delegated caseload of SEND children across educational settings.
• Collaborate with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to support speech, language and communication needs (EHCP).
• Assess and formulate treatment plans, write reports, provide interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Support service targets and contribute to service development.
• Supervise and allocate work to assistants and junior staff when required.
