Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our school-age team, primarily covering Winchcombe Language Resource in West Berkshire. You will work with education staff to support children with Developmental Language Disorder and independently manage your caseload.

You will gain opportunities to shadow colleagues, attend training, and develop specialist skills related to DLD within a supportive multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience working with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites within West Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Function as a specialist autonomous clinician to support CYPIT model.
• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children with developmental/complex needs.
• Contribute specialist therapy input within a designated area and participate in projects.
