Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Reading team. You will deliver high-quality SLT services to children and young people with developmental and complex needs, working across community, educational settings and homes.

The role offers autonomy, the CYPIT model support, and opportunities to collaborate with senior clinicians while maintaining your own caseload with travel and some home-working flexibility.

Qualifications

• Qualified SLT with experience in assessing and treating children and young people with developmental and complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with schools, families and health colleagues.
• Hold a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality assessment and intervention for children and young people.
• Deliver SLT services across community, educational settings and homes.
• Contribute to service development and maintain accurate records.
