Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Wokingham is recruiting a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the school age team, primarily covering Winchcombe Language Resource. You will manage your own caseload with support to shadow colleagues and develop skills in Developmental Language Disorder.

You will work within a well-established resource attached to a mainstream school, collaborating with education staff to plan and deliver joint interventions and offer second opinions to

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with HCPC.
• Experience working with children with Developmental Language Disorder.
• Willingness to travel between West Berkshire sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Function as an autonomous clinician supporting CYPIT model and junior therapists.
• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children with complex needs.
• Contribute to clinical services within the designated area and projects.
