Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for paediatric complex needs. You will work across specialist settings including schools, clinics and homes, developing staff training and supporting AAC pathways.

The role offers professional development, supervision of juniors and students, with bilingual service delivery in English and Welsh. Travel between sites is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Autonomous practitioner capable of managing caseloads independently.
• Excellent team working and collaboration with MDT.
• Strong verbal and written communication of complex information.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage paediatric complex needs.
• Deliver training to staff and families; support AAC pathway.
• Supervise SLTs and students; participate in team development days.
