Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for a specialist educational setting in Hillingdon, London. You will support children and young people with Autism, SEMH needs, developmental trauma and neurodiverse profiles to improve independence and engagement.

The role offers term-time or full-time options with 37.5 hours weekly, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. HCPC registration and RCOT involvement are required or desirable, with opportunities for professional development and supportive

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• RCOT membership desired or current.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Experience with children/young people and neurodivergent needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions tailored to pupil needs.
• Manage and develop an OT caseload with supervision and site lead support.
• Collaborate with education staff, families and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve positive pupil outcomes.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on therapeutic approaches.
• Contribute to person-centred plans promoting independence and wellbeing.
