Job summary

Thornbury Community Services seeks experienced paediatric nurses to provide day and night support in a family home near Banbury. You will care for a young female with complex health needs, including seizure management and ventilation, delivering safe, person-centred care.

Working with a second nurse on shift, you’ll build trust with the family, support learning and independence, and promote the child’s comfort, safety and wellbeing through compassionate, high-quality clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
• Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
• Skilled in Care and Use of Gastrostomy, Complex Epilepsy/Seizure Management, Ventilation via Mask & Female Intermittent Catheterisation experience/knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support day and night care for a young girl with complex health needs in a family home.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and promote comfort, safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with another nurse on shift and communicate with the family.
