Job summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a Community Paediatric Nurse to support a young patient with complex healthcare needs in Banbury. You will work day and night, delivering high-quality, person-centred care within the family home and helping the child stay safe, thrive, and participate in daily activities.

The role requires compassion, resilience, and recent experience in UK complex care, including seizure management, gastrostomy care, and ventilation via mask.

• Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire Shifts: Days & Nights - 8-8

Pay Rates (including holiday pay):

• Days: £35.20 per hour
• Nights: £39.55 per hour
• Weekends: £44.06 per hour

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Paediatric Nurses to provide day and night support for a young female with complex healthcare needs, including seizure management, enteral feeding, and non-invasive ventilation via mask. Working collaboratively alongside another nurse on shift, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a busy family home, supporting the client to live a full and meaningful life while promoting her comfort, safety, and wellbeing. The role also involves building trusted relationships with the family, providing valuable respite and reassurance, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are maintained at all times. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the client’s quality of life while working as part of a dedicated and supportive care team.
