Job summary

Thornbury Community Services in Kingsbridge, Devon, is seeking a Community Paediatric Nurse for overnight complex care to support a 1-year-old child at home. You will build trust with the family, ensure safety, and enable the child to thrive in daily activities within the home and local community.

The role offers nights 22:00–07:00 and weekends with higher pay. We seek compassionate, reliable nurses with UK complex care experience and skills in Tracheostomy/Suction and PEG care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and resilient with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
• Experience in UK complex care with at least 6 months in the last 2 years.
• Skilled in Tracheostomy Care, Suction, Tube changes and PEG care.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care for a 1-year-old boy in the family home.
• Build trust with families and support safe home and community life.
• Contribute to safeguarding and enable learning and development in daily activities.
• Work with block bookings and consecutive shifts where required.
