Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist for Paediatric and Neonatal Services (Band 7) at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. The role includes ward-based clinical pharmacy, ensuring safe, effective medication management and part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will act as deputy to the Lead Pharmacist for Women and Children and provide cover to gynaecology wards as needed, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive NHS

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with the GPhC in the UK and eligible to practice in NHS hospitals.
• Experience delivering clinical pharmacy services in paediatric and neonatal settings.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and meet prescribing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to Paediatrics and Neonates.
• Monitor drug expenditure and prepare related reports.
• Support ward rounds and 7-day working requirements.
• Lead or deputise for the Lead Pharmacist for Women and Children.
