Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Specialist Dermatology Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a) to lead the dermatology pharmacy service. The role includes independent prescribing, managing homecare biologic therapies, and providing expert medication advice within a multidisciplinary team.

The post is 15 hours per week with an established outpatient and ward presence. You will support guideline development, patient education, biosimilar switches, and bedside reviews.

Qualifications

• UK recognised Degree in Pharmacy required and registered with GPhC.
• Pharmacist Independent Prescriber qualification is essential.
• Experience delivering clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dermatology clinical pharmacy service and provide expert pharmaceutical care.
• Conduct outpatient clinics and manage homecare prescriptions for biologics.
• Collaborate with MDT and contribute to guidelines, education and policy development.
