Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support medicines optimisation through reviews and reconciliation.
  • Provide expert medicines advice to patients, carers, consultants and staff.
  • Assist in safe procurement, management and control of medication stock.
  • Support the introduction and evaluation of new medicines and therapies.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, including incident reporting and audits.
  • Support pharmacy operations including dispensing, supply and procurement processes.
  • Assist in training and development of colleagues across the hospital.

This is a permanent role with full-time and part-time options available, with a salary of £50,350 annually or £24,168 prorated if part-time, ideal for those who prefer working two full days and a part day.
