Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for the Eating Disorder Team. This Band 6 post is a fixed term maternity cover to September 2027, with base at Alder Hey and Blossom House, Alder Park, Waterloo.

You will contribute to the clinical work of the team, undertake assessments, provide intervention, and manage your own caseload with regular clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with eating disorders is beneficial.
• Undertake assessments and provide intervention and support to children, young people and their families.
• Regular clinical supervision will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and interventions for children/young people with eating disorders.
• Take on full case management responsibilities for your workload.
• Work across Alder Hey and community bases with supervision from consultants.
