Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 clinician to work across Alder Hey and Blossom House on eating disorder services for children and young people. The role involves clinical case management, assessments and interventions with families, delivering care across hospital and community settings.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, under supervision, ensuring high standards of patient care and alignment with trust values and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Qualified in core profession such as Children’s or Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RLD), Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or creative therapies with registration
• BABCP training/knowledge would be advantageous
• Experience in child/adolescent mental health services and eating disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and support to children and young people with eating disorders and/or ARFID
• Undertake physical monitoring under supervision of Consultant Paediatricians
• Carry full case management responsibility with regular clinical supervision
• Work across Alder Hey and community bases within Liverpool and Sefton
