Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a paediatric Dietitian to manage an allocated caseload across hospital, community and school settings.

You will train dietetic students (A, B and C placements), work with paediatric dietitians and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to service development and planning.

New graduates are welcome to apply; the role is Band 6 Annex 21 with progression after successful completion of a competency-based training programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload referred by community or secondary care health professionals.
• See patients with parents/guardians in hospital, community clinics, telephone clinics and specialist school clinics.
• Collaborate with paediatric Dietitians, the dietetic team and multidisciplinary teams.
