Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking a motivated dietitian to join our busy paediatric centre. This role is part of a well-established Band 6 rotation, offering exposure to multiple clinical areas and supervised growth within a supportive team of senior dietitians.

You will manage your own caseload of paediatric patients, with regular input from experienced colleagues, and contribute to service development and innovation.

Qualifications

• Paediatric dietitian with Band 6 experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and collaborative team approach.
• Experience in MDT working and paediatric nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dietetic services to identified paediatric sub-specialities within the Trust, including nutritional assessment and care plan development.
• Develop and implement evidence-based protocols, standards of care and patient education information.
• Collaborate with advanced specialist dietitians in complex paediatric sub-specialities for service development and protocol implementation.
