Job description

You will provide holistic, family-centred care, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and help support junior staff and students. You will also benefit from regular supervision and mentorship by an experienced Band 7 Clinical Specialist Dietitian. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic dietitian looking to expand their specialist skills in a collaborative team environment.

  • Provide a comprehensive and family-centred Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic service to children and young people across a range of community settings, including their own homes, schools, specialist care environments, outpatient clinics, and inpatient support on the children's ward.

  • In addition to clinical responsibilities, the postholder will play an active role in mentoring and supervising dietetic students, supporting the development of junior team members, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives and service development projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
