Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Specialist Dietitian to join the Paediatric Dietetics Team on a fixed-term basis until August 2027, providing maternity leave cover. The role focuses on developing and delivering a paediatric allergy service and delivering expert nutritional care across inpatient settings.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, educate colleagues and families, and supervise student dietitians.

Qualifications

• Qualified Dietitian with HCPC registration and CPD commitment.
• Experience in paediatric nutrition and allergy would be advantageous.
• Membership of BDA specialist group preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver paediatric allergy service within the Trust.
• Provide expert nutritional care across inpatient settings as part of the MDT.
• Deliver education and training to colleagues, patients and families.
• Support progression of the evolving paediatric service and supervise student dietitians.
